Wade Cordell MA, LPC
As a Licensed Professional Counselor with the Arizona Board of Behavioral Health Examiners, I am passionate about helping others. A veteran of the United States Navy, I have always found myself drawn to helping and serving others. In 2012, after many successful years in a different type of helping industry, I realized that my passion was really about helping others on a deeper, more personal level. Seeking to integrate behavioral science and my faith, I made the decision to return to school at Liberty University where I earned my Masters of Arts in Professional Counseling.
I believe each individual has the key to unlock their innermost potential. That is why I use a more person-centered approach that explores the client’s own belief system, challenges their self-defeating thoughts and behaviors, and brings forth internal healing. Most sessions center around Mindfulness based therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) and Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT).
I believe in the holistic approach, a mind-body connection, and I strive to provide a safe, nonjudgmental environment for my clients that allows them to explore various issues. My goal is to have each client felt heard and seen as I walk with each client on their personal journey to understand how to be more present, better balanced, and achieve their personal goals.
